RootedPost is built around your voice and your weekly notes — the AI handles the writing, so you pay one-tenth what an agency charges. You stay in control: nothing goes live without your approval.
What if the AI writes something off-brand?
Two safeguards. First, every post is reviewed by a second AI pass against your brand profile — voice, tone, things-to-never-mention — before you ever see it. Second, you approve every single post in the dashboard. If something feels off, reject it with a one-line note and we rewrite it. After three rounds of feedback, we ask you to take over manually — but that almost never happens.
Which platforms do you support?
Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Threads — all via direct first-party integrations with each platform's official API. No middleman like Buffer or Hootsuite. You connect each account once with one click; we publish your approved posts straight from our service. TikTok and Pinterest are on the roadmap once a critical mass of customers ask for them.
Do I need a Buffer account, Hootsuite, or any other tool?
No. RootedPost is the whole stack — drafting, image generation, review, scheduling, and publishing. The only thing you need is your existing social media accounts.
Do I have to write the posts myself?
No — that's the whole point. You spend five minutes a week telling us what's happening (a sentence or two is fine). We turn that into a full week of posts with on-brand copy and AI-generated images. If you want to edit, the dashboard makes it easy. If you don't, just approve and they ship.
What about photos? Do I have to provide my own?
You don't have to. We generate a custom image for every post using gpt-image-1. If you'd rather use your own photos for the week (or a specific post), upload them with your intake and we'll match them to the best-fit posts automatically. You can also swap any post's image one-click before approving.
What happens if I forget the weekly update?
You get an email reminder Friday morning. If you still miss it, we generate posts from your content pillars and last week's themes and flag them for your review. You won't go dark.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your subscription continues through the end of the billing period you paid for; no further charges. No contracts, no setup fees, no cancellation fees. If you cancel within the first 7 days of your trial, you're not billed at all.
Who owns the content?
You do. Every post belongs to your business and stays in your accounts. If you cancel, we hand off everything — the posts, the brand profile, the schedule. Nothing is held hostage.
Is my Instagram safe? Won't this look like a bot?
We post via Instagram's official Graph API — the same one Meta blesses for business publishing tools. It's the right way. Each post is human-approved by you, paced to your normal schedule, and uses your real voice. Meta doesn't flag this kind of usage; that's literally what the publishing API is for.
What about my data and privacy?
Short version: we don't sell your data, don't share it with advertisers, and don't use it to train AI. Your weekly intake goes to OpenAI to draft posts and to whichever platforms you connected to publish them — that's it. You can delete your entire account and all data with one email. How quickly can you launch me?
Waitlist invitations go out in order. Once you accept your activation email, setup takes about 10 minutes (brand profile + connect your social accounts). Your first batch of posts is ready within 30 minutes of submitting your first weekly intake. After that, it's five minutes a week.
